Can you make custom gates?
Gatebuilders specializes in custom gates. We can make any size and style. You can add your options or choose from some of ours. If you know what you want, we can build it. If you are not sure, we can help you choose a gate that compliments your property and reflects your style.
Can I get a color other than black?
We offer numerous color options including but not limited to: matte black, gloss black, bronze, white, pewter/silver.
Can you ship my gate?
Gatebuilders drop ships from coast-to-coast. We have partnered with several carriers that will deliver your gate to your residence ( in most cases ) or the nearest hub if you are located in an area that is too treacherous carrier delivery. We work hard to find you the best rates and fastest service for carrier delivery.
Can I order larger posts?
Our standard packages come with 4 x 4 posts but 6 x 6 posts are an option on any gate.
What is the center measurement from post to post?
Standard gates ( 16 ft. ) have a 17 ft center measurement. If you order another size, 18 ft for example, your center line would be 19 ft.
What size is the tubing?
On standard gates the outside tubing is 1-1/2 inch square, 11 gauge tubing with 1/2 inch square inside pickets. However, larger tubing is available to achieve the style and security that you desire.
Do you sell gate opening systems?
Yes. Lift Master and Ghost Control are both available. Pricing depends on the options you need for your gate to work proficiently. Both systems can be ordered to run on electrical power or solar power.
Do you sell aluminum gates?
Yes. Aluminum gates are generally 25% higher than 11 gauge steel. Aluminum is an ideal option for coastal areas, areas with extreme weather conditions, or to lessen the weight of a very large gate.
Can I build columns around the posts?
Yes. In order to for that work, you will need to provide us with the thickness of the columns so that we can build the posts to the correct specifications.
